Melissa Williams is a seasoned Democratic political strategist with experience in direct voter contact, communications, board affairs, training and fundraising. 

Williams most recently served as Executive Director of Women Vote, running the independent expenditure operation for EMILYs List. She is now a senior advisor. As one of the largest outside spenders on the Democratic side, Women Vote invests in IE campaigns up and down the ballot across the country. Prior to EMILYs List, she was the National Political Director for the Sierra Club. While at the Club, Williams directed the federal electoral program, running independent expenditures, membership communications and coordinated campaigns nationwide. She has also worked for progressive labor and women’s organizations, running tens of millions of dollars every election cycle.

With deep experience in message testing, experimentation and opinion research, Williams designs data-driven efforts to win.
